Role Description :
The Human Resources Executive / Senior Executive plays a key leadership role in managing and executing the full spectrum of Human Resource functions for Espira Kinrara . This position leads the hotel’s HR team. It acts as a strategic partner to the Hotel Manager while ensuring alignment with the corporate HR direction set by Attana Hotels & Resorts Sdn. Bhd.
The role is responsible for driving HR operations, employee engagement, recruitment, training & development, performance management, and compliance — ensuring that HR practices support business objectives and foster a positive work culture within the hotel.

Division Head, Human Capital & Administration, Attana Hotels & Resorts (indirect reporting)
Key Responsibilities :
1) HR Leadership & Operations
- Lead the HR department at Espira Kinrara and manage all daily HR functions.
- Liaise closely with the Corporate HR team to ensure policy consistency and compliance.
- Oversee HR documentation, payroll verification, attendance records, and HR reporting.
- Manage HR administrative matters, including leave management, employee records, and correspondence.
2) Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified talent.Conduct interviews, manage onboarding, and oversee induction programs.Plan and monitor manpower levels effectively to meet operational needs.3) Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate training sessions in collaboration with Corporate HR.Track employee performance and recommend development opportunities.4) Employee Relations & Engagement
Act as the primary contact for employee relations matters and grievances.Ensure fair and consistent application of disciplinary procedures.Organise staff engagement, welfare, and team-building activities to enhance morale and retention.5) Performance Management
Implement the KRA / KPI performance appraisal process and ensure timely completion.Support department heads in setting clear performance goals and tracking results.Identify underperformance issues and assist managers in developing improvement plans.6) Compliance & Administration
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act 1955 and all related statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD Corp).Prepare and submit monthly HR reports and manpower statistics to Corporate HR.Assist in internal and external HR audits and maintain accurate documentation.Challenges of The Role :

HR Management and Human Resources (HR) skillsHR Operations and Employee Relations experienceProficiency in developing and implementing HR PoliciesStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience in the hospitality industry is a plusWorking Conditions :
