Overview
The Sales Operations Executive at KENS plays a key role in supporting both sales and operational functions across our retail businesses, including Kens Apothecary and Caudalie. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day sales operations, providing analytical insights, coordinating between departments, and supporting the execution of strategies to drive sales performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales Operations Manager in executing sales strategies and operational initiatives across retail locations.
- Monitor daily sales performance, KPIs, and provide timely updates to management.
- Work closely with Store Managers to ensure accurate reporting, data collection, and alignment with business objectives.
- Support the implementation of in-store sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
Track and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.Prepare regular sales and operations performance reports for management review.Utilize POS and data analytics to provide actionable insights that support business decisions.Benchmark competitor activities and market trends to highlight potential opportunities.Operational Coordination
Coordinate with the Stock Allocator and Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal inventory management.Support the maintenance of store standards, including visual merchandising and compliance with company policies.Conduct checks to ensure stores are aligned with SOPs, safety, and security measures.Assist in streamlining workflows and processes to enhance efficiency across retail operations.Business Support & Expansion
Provide administrative and analytical support in evaluating potential retail expansion opportunities.Assist with market research and feasibility studies as required.Support initiatives that enhance customer engagement and loyalty programs.Training & Development Support
Work with the Education & Training team to coordinate training sessions and ensure staff receive product knowledge and sales technique updates.Track training participation and performance development progress of retail teams.Forecasting, Planning & Budgeting Assistance
Support the preparation of sales forecasts and inventory planning in coordination with Sales Operations Manager, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.Assist with budget tracking, reporting, and expenses monitoring to align with financial goals.Commission & Incentive Administration
Support the execution of commission and incentive programs designed to drive sales performance.Monitor results and prepare performance summaries to evaluate program effectiveness.Ensure clear communication of incentive structures to retail teams.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field.2–4 years of relevant retail experience; experience in luxury retail, beauty, cosmetics, or fragrance industry is highly preferred.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and prepare actionable reports.Familiarity with retail KPIs (conversion rate, ATV, UPT, etc.) and sales performance metrics.Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support multiple stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.Willingness to visit retail locations for operational support when needed.Seniority level
