Director of Sales and Marketing

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve the hotel's revenue goals.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Create and manage the annual sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Lead and manage the sales team, setting performance goals and providing guidance to achieve targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.
• Oversee the development and execution of sales initiatives, including promotions, packages, and partnerships.
• Marketing and Branding : Develop and execute marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness and attract target audiences.
• Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, and advertisements.
• Manage the hotel's online presence, including website, social media, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
• Revenue Management : Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies and maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Event Management : Oversee the planning and execution of events and conferences, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution and guest experience.
• Leadership and Team Development : Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities for the sales and marketing team.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Guest Relations and Accounts Management : Maintain a strong presence in the hotel, engaging with guests to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
• Address guest complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
