The Utilities and Building Services Engineer oversee the planning, design, and upkeep of a facility's key systems, such as HVAC, electrical power, water supply, and telecommunications. This role ensures all building services operate reliably, efficiently, and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining building services like landscape, janitorial, RODI, WWTP, Fire Protection system by developing maintenance plans, and responding to emergencies.
- Handle design and project management using CAD and BIM software, collaborating with other professionals on new projects or upgrades, and leading projects from start to finish.
- Analyzing utility data for efficiency, implementing energy‑saving solutions, and staying updated on industry trends are also important.
- Ensuring systems comply with safety and environmental regulations, managing contractors, and maintaining documentation are crucial for compliance and safety.
- Team collaboration involves providing technical guidance, communicating with stakeholders, and promoting continuous improvement.
