Chip sales engineers are the core link between chip companies and the downstream application market. They need to have both "technical understanding" and "sales development ability" : they must not only accurately grasp the functions, performance, cost and supply chain needs of customers, but also provide selection suggestions based on chip technical parameters (such as process, packaging, certification standards); they must also conduct market research to discover potential customers, maintain core customer relationships, and promote order placement and sales targets. At the same time, it is necessary to provide real‑time feedback on industry trends (competitive product movements, technology trends, policy changes) and customer needs to provide a basis for the company's product strategy and pricing adjustments, and ultimately achieve a two‑way match between the company's commercial value and customer needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Market development and customer development : Responsible for the promotion and sales of electronic components products in Southeast Asia.
- Sales target achievement : According to the sales targets issued by the company, formulate personal sales plans, clarify sales rhythm and resource investment, and ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance (sales, profits, market share, etc.) are achieved through customer follow‑up, demand matching, plan communication, etc.
- Customer relationship maintenance : Establish and maintain long‑term cooperative relationships with core customers, visit customers regularly (including online communication and offline visits), keep abreast of customer business trends, product demand changes and potential pain points, coordinate the company's technical and after‑sales teams, provide customers with full‑cycle service support, and improve customer satisfaction and repurchase rates.
- Order and contract management : Responsible for the docking and follow‑up of customer orders, including demand confirmation, quotation communication, contract drafting and signing, delivery progress tracking, etc., to ensure that the order process is compliant and efficient; at the same time, manage customer accounts receivable to reduce the risk of bad debts.
- Market information feedback and communication : Collect industry trends (such as technology iterations, policy changes, competitor actions, price trends, etc.) and customer feedback in real time, and compile them into market analysis reports on a regular basis to provide data support for the company's product development, pricing strategies, and sales strategy adjustments.
- Cross‑department collaboration : Cooperate with the technical support department to provide customers with product technical explanations and solution adaptation suggestions; collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure product delivery cycles; interface with the financial department to follow up on order repayments to ensure a smooth sales process.
Job Requirements
College degree or above, electronic engineering, microelectronics, semiconductor, marketing, international trade and other related majors are preferred.Applicants with 2 years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry or more than 3 years of procurement experience in the semiconductor industry, and familiar with the characteristics, application scenarios and market structure of semiconductor products (such as MCU, power semiconductors, analog chips, semiconductor packaging materials, etc.) are preferred.Applicants with customer resources (such as terminal manufacturers, ODM / OEM manufacturers, distributors) in the fields of consumer electronics, automotive electronics, industrial control and other fields will be given priority.Have keen ability to capture customer needs, business negotiation ability and transaction conversion ability, and be able to independently complete the entire process from customer development to order landing.Good at cross‑department and cross‑level communication, able to efficiently coordinate resources to solve customer problems; have good oral and written expression skills, and can clearly present product value and solution advantages.Proficient in using Office software and able to speak either English or Chinese.#J-18808-Ljbffr
