Project Manager

Introduction

Our Client is a Johor Bahru–based electrical engineering contractor with over 30 years of experience serving in Johor and across Peninsular Malaysia. Currently they are seeking a committed Project Manager to join their dynamic team.

Job Responsibility

• Prepare, plan, organize, monitor, and manage all ongoing Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) projects from initiation to completion.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Project Engineers, ensuring effective delegation of tasks and running weekly project meetings to track progress.
• Work closely with Site Managers to ensure smooth execution of projects through proactive forward planning, efficient resource allocation, and effective organization.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their representatives to understand project requirements, timelines, and specifications; proactively resolve technical and site issues.
• Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors, Purchasers, Contract Clerks, and other stakeholders to manage project timescales, materials, costs, and resources to achieve delivery targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with company processes, quality standards, and safety regulations while maintaining flexibility to address unforeseen challenges.
• Represent the company at site meetings and client discussions, prepare progress reports for management, and foster strong client relationships for future business opportunities.
• Oversee infrastructure-related M&E systems, including but not limited to traffic light power supply, street lighting, utilities distribution, and other public infrastructure projects.
