Safety & Health Supervisor

Job Description

• To assist SHO in explain, apply, and enforce policies based on the DOSH & DOE requirements at the plant to prevent Lost of Time Injuries (LTI) and any other asset damage.
• To assist SHOin analyze and report overall injuries and accidents at the plant and recommend corrective measures to minimize / overcome these accidents.
• To perform follow-up sessions on safety matters cascaded and regularly monitor compliance of safety practices at the plant.
• Work with the relevant parties in developing safety and health policies and procedures throughout all departments.
• Ensure that all equipment adheres to the safety requirements and other tools necessary for the effective implementation of accident control.
• Regularly inspect plant facilities to ensure that they are in compliance with the government safety regulations.
• Ensure relevant parties understand and regularly practices safety and health procedures at the workplace.
• Obtain regular updates on DOSH & DOE requirements and assist in training internal staff and new recruits on safety and health requirements as part of orientation.
• To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.

Qualifications

Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in occupational safety and health or equivalent.
