Sales & Customer Support (Export & Gear Facilitator)
WEG South East Asia Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Sales & Customer Support (Export & Gear Facilitator) to join our dynamic team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time role will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support to our international clients, with a focus on our export business and gear product line.
Job Purpose / Primary Objectives :
To work collaboratively within a team and contribute to establishing and maintaining a highly competent and professional “Sales & Customer Services” capability within the WSEA Gear Product Sales operation.
To be involved in the quoting, selling and facilitation of order of all WEG Gear products to businesses and industrial establishments (customers).
The team is responsible for delivering excellence in customer service, being the first point of call for all pre-sale and post-order communications for customers serviced by the WEG South East Asia operation (WSEA).
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound sales calls and respond to customer enquiry emails. (Both shared and personal mailboxes are facilities expected to be used within WSEA)
- Provide basic product assistance and recommendations on the use and application of WEG Gears products, pricing assistance and stock and delivery checks including modifications to standard products to meet customer order needs and requirements.
- Prepare basic quotations for customers.
- Understand logistical timelines and be able to estimate and communicate these effectively.
- Enter customer orders into the system, ensuring that all relevant commercial and technical data on the order(s) are correct and follow-up delivery schedules with the OMT.
- Assist the external sales team with building and maintaining customers relationships.
- Works with external sales team to keep account activities and literature up to date.
- Investigate, report and resolve customer service issues.
- Ensure your work practice is in accordance with company policy and OH&S guidelines.
- Assists in determining what stock is required for local sales and providing feedback on inventory to the relevant people (Head of Sales, Purchasing Logistics & Inventory Controller).
- (Appendix) – assist manager with export sales budget.
- Allocated duties not specifically within this document, but within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from a person occupying a position at this level.
