Sales Assistant General Manager (Chemical Trading)

We are looking for a talented Sales Assistant General Manager for an established MNC that specializes in chemical trading services.

Reporting to : Managing Director

Location : Kuala Lumpur

The role

Sales & Business Development :

Oversee sales and marketing for chemical / industrial products, focusing on both account retention and new business acquisition.

Expand trading operations across all markets : domestic, import, export, and offshore.

Identify, develop, and launch new business ventures to build a broader revenue base.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management :

Act as a primary liaison, fostering strong communication and relationships with suppliers, customers, forwarders, stakeholders, and overseas offices.

Employ strong negotiation skills to manage all external and internal partnerships effectively.

Operational & Strategic Support :

Assist the Division GM and Team Leaders with strategic planning, organizational management, and internal HR development.

Maintain full compliance with all company policies and internal regulations, ensuring all reports are submitted on time.

The requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / diploma or equivalent sales training or experience.
• Availability for regular business travel.
• Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries.
• Excellent planning & organizational skills.
