Overview

China State Construction Engineering Corporation – Penang To carry out site measurement and taking off works, attend site valuation, and prepare / monitor contractual documentation such as progress claims, payment certifications, settlements, VOs and final accounts for subcontractors. Responsible for re-measurement works and related price negotiations and evaluations as required. To produce plans, estimate budgets and timescales, and liaise with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and client representatives. To attend weekly meetings with the client and undertake new tasks as assigned. Responsibilities

Carry out site measurement and taking off works. Attend site valuation and prepare / monitor contractual documentation (progress claims, payment certifications, settlements, VOs, and final accounts for subcontractors). Be fully responsible for re-measurement works, and describe the whole re-measurement work procedure when required. Assist in price negotiations and evaluations as needed. Produce plans, estimate budgets and timescales. Liaise with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and client representatives. Attend weekly meetings with the client. Undertake new tasks assigned from time to time. Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field. At least Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent. Experience in at least 2 years of consultancy practice is advantageous. Familiar with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Glodon, etc. Able to converse in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Able to meet tight deadlines, work under pressure, and work independently. Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors. Welcome candidates experienced in handling re-measurement work and capable of undertaking work independently; able to describe work procedures in detail during interview (work strategies, plans, documents needed, final outcomes). Knowledge of EDMS and document control concepts; experience with SharePoint, OpenText, M-Files, or Documentum is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and cloud storage systems; familiarity with data center operations documentation. Understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 27001) and their application in document control and information security. Relevant certifications (ISO 9001 QMS Document Control Training, ISO 27001 Information Security Management, EDRM Certification, Data Center Operations Certification) are a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve design and construction issues across departments. Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients. Note
