Product Marketing Manager, MV Distribution Solutions
ABB, a global market leader, seeks a Product Marketing Manager to drive sales and market growth for Medium Voltage Distribution Solutions (ELDS) in Malaysia. The role reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager and supports sales activities, defines product marketing strategy, and ensures local go-to-market implementation.
Responsibilities
- Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
- Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
- Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
- Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business line and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach, including responsibility for homologation processes in the utility segment.
- Maintaining Salesforce CRM, including workflow, reporting, data integrity, and process improvement. Analyzing sales data and market performance to inform strategic decisions and improve marketing efforts.
- Developing, executing, and monitoring marketing programs across various channels and communications with internal / external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.7+ years of relevant experience in marketing and engineering, especially in the electrical or power systems industry, preferably with knowledge of Medium Voltage Switchgear design, operations and applications.Proven track record in sales and marketing of medium voltage switchgear and protection relay and highly innovative around demand generation & product marketing.Experience in homologation processes, ensuring products meet regulatory and industry standards.Demonstrated leadership and people development / management skills, relevant and successful change management experience.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to sell ideas creatively and innovatively.Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce, demonstrating proficiency in using the dashboard and conduct data analysis.Benefits
