Technical Executive - Product Assessment (Quality - Food Science / Nutrition)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, purchasing samples and conduct product testing. Testing includes Quality Basket Test, New Product Test & Trained Panel session to gain customer feedback.
• Conduct specification check test for own brand products to ensure product consistency and specification compliance.
• Prepare, pack, label and distribute product samples and prepare the test environment.
• Contact customers to arrange sample pickup, returning completed testing questionnaires and attend trained panel session.
• Analyze the customer feedback statistically in-depth and generate test reports for Commercial and Technical Manager.
• To manage daily operation of product assessment center.
• To manage and plan the budget as well as the inventory of product assessment center.
• Ensure all equipment’s in technical department are calibrated on time.
• Maintain and update the master calibration list, and related KPI trackers.
• Supervise, manage and train staff including part timers and interns.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeep the center according to cleaning schedule and "clean as you go".
• Recruit new panels and train existing panels to improve their ability to recognize, identify and describe sensory attributes.
