Manage and control overall IT for airline operations (ground), so as to ensure effective and optimum operations, smooth customer experience, aircraft safety through accurate passenger count and baggage weight and compliance to government regulation at highest quality level.
Position Summary
Manage and control overall IT for airline operations (ground), so as to ensure effective and optimum operations, smooth customer experience, aircraft safety through accurate passenger count and baggage weight and compliance to government regulation at highest quality level.
Key Accountability
- Strategic : Collaborate with business units to support realization of Technology Plan, PSS Solution and projects, based on industry best practise to drive safety, operational and cost efficiency, regulatory requirements compliance and meeting business objectives of generating revenue and highly satisfying customer experience
- Operational : Monitor and manage operational issue in relation to the application's operations and related Service Level Agreement to support day-to-day operational requirements by liaising with the business units and IT's service providers
- Operational : Support the management of application configuration (technical and functional) for optimal business utilization in accordance to the applicable corporate governance, IT Policy and related Authority / Regulatory requirements especially in the areas of customer check-in and boarding management and passenger's travel documents requirements.
- Operational : Assist tracking and documenting business process continuous improvement initiatives (IT / Digital) components in collaboration with the business units and relevant IT's vendors to ensure sustainable systems and operation environments
- Organisation & People : Support the business unit transformation towards leveraging on data and IT applications, business intelligence, by acting as facilitator and trainer for the applications.
Qualification & Working Experience
Degree, Computer Science or related discipline.3–5 years of experience in IT operations, application support, or business-IT coordination.Areas of Experience
