Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparing ingredients for pastry and dessert production.
- Support the baking, assembling, and finishing of pastries, cakes and plated desserts.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by the Executive Pastry Chef.
- Maintain mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
- Operate pastry equipment (mixers, ovens, sheeters, etc.) safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section, tools, and equipment.
- Follow all food hygiene, safety, and storage procedures (HACCP or equivalent).
- Assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and receiving of pastry supplies.
- Learn and develop skills in different pastry techniques.
- Support the team during service to ensure timely production and plating.
Skills & Qualifications :
Basic knowledge of pastry and baking techniques; culinary or pastry school certification preferred.Ability to follow precise instructions and recipes.Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for pastry arts.Good time management and organizational skills.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Requirements :
