JOB TITLE : Personal Trainer
Department : Fitness Department
Reports To : Club Manager / Fitness Retention Manager
Personal Trainers are the forefront ambassadors of health and fitness. They represent Anytime Fitness as we provide clients with safe and effective exercise programs. This is done through proper health screening, the creation of appropriate fitness programs, and educating and motivating clients to attain their goals and wellness.
Job Description and Responsibilities :
- Fitness Operations
- Conduct complementary Induction sessions for new members
- Design safe and effective customized programs for clients both in the gym and for Anytime Home Fitness
- Conduct fitness reassessments to members on a per-6 weeks basis.
- Be active on the floor to assist members, and ensure the gym floor is tidy and safe.
- Sell and conduct personal training services to members
- Facilitate and lead group classes
- Aim to achieve and exceed monthly target set by management
- Retention Activities
- Re-engage with our at-risk members through a call drive
- Save members from cancelling by providing fitness consultation
- Develop social media content that will drive retention and loyalty
- Spearhead other fitness activities in the club
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
Possess exemplary customer service skills coupled with excellent sales skills2-year experience as a Personal Trainer is a plus, but fresh graduates with fitness background and certifications are also welcome to applyMust have first aid certification, or any fitness-related certificationBachelor's Degree in any medical-related field (Physical Therapy, Sports Science, Physical Education degrees are preferred)Able to navigate mobile and online resources (mobile, social media, Google, etc.)Can work in a sales-driven environment.Responsibilities of All Positions within Anytime Fitness
Represent Anytime Fitness and its cultureMaintain a Healthy Way of LifeDemonstrate a positive attitude by showing professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation to both internal and external customersManage and send the reports required, including but not limited to sales, accidents, injuries, equipment damages, etc.Follow company protocols for discipline, performance management, and safety.Manage compliance with in-house rules and SOPs. Notify the club manager or department head of any unsafe acts or conditions as soon as possible.Ensure that all exercise equipment is in good condition.
