Job Responsibilities :
Legal & Compliance
- Review & draft tenancy agreements, agreements / contracts and other related documents.
- Conduct legal research, keeping up to date with relevant laws. Advising on the required changes and impact to business operations.
- Provide administrative support to the legal and compliance team.
- Updating & contributing towards the continuous improvement of department workflow and templates.
- Identifying risks / potential risks and ensuring that the company's interest is protected.
- Liaising with tenants, service providers, internal clients and / or any enquiries.
- Updating the SAP system with contractual information and maintaining the records / information.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and advising on legal implications of contractual terms.
- Working closely with the team and external solicitors.
- Handling legal disputes that may arise, including liaising with external legal counsel.
- Preparing required work-related reports.
Insurance
Performing administration of insurance matters, claims.Preparation of insurance claim reports.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulation pertaining to insurance and claims.Liaising closely with the insurance brokers on updates of claims.Miscellaneous
Handling any other duties (whether legal, compliance, insurance, or otherwise) as assigned.
Job Requirements :
Minimum bachelor's degree in law-related or relevant studies.Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in law-related or relevant studies.At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position.Must have good writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Able to work independently, meticulous and organized.Attention to detail and able to meet deadline.A team player with pleasant interpersonal skill.
