With a presence across the globe, we are continually looking for passionate and talented people who are eager to join our team. We are looking for up to 3 new team members for DHI Legal & Compliance. Join our dynamic global team at DHI as an in-house Legal Counsel for the APAC Region, based locally at our Excellence Centre in Kuala Lumpur. As Legal Counsel at DHI you will join a dedicated team of 10 other lawyers that work in Kuala Lumpur and Denmark on a wide variety of legal aspects very close to the business.

In this role, you will engage in end-to-end projects and support long term solutions for the purpose of making the world better, greener and safer.
Responsibilities and challenges
- Providing advice on all legal aspects relevant to the organization, including Corporate and Commercial matters, Intellectual Property Rights, Data Protection, M&A, Procurement as well as Risk Management, Compliance and Transparency issues.
- Focused on legal and commercial aspects of selling software and on the legal and commercial aspects of selling consultancy / advisory services.
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contract terms with partners and customers.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Law or similar, preferable an attorney-at-law with minimum 4-5 years of working experience from a major law firm or in-house legal department at a large private company.Experience with reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contract terms. Experience with international contracts paradigms is a plus but not a prerequisite.Conceptual understanding of commercial operations processes combined with the sense of detail.Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required. Proficiency in additional languages such as French, German, Italian, Spanish or Mandarin is advantageous but not mandatory.Actively manage a network of key internal stakeholders as well as external relations (for example, external law firms, advisors, foreign authorities etc.)Personal skills
