Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Resource Operations Executive to ensure the smooth and efficient allocation and management of our travel resources. You will be the central nervous system for our operational supply, balancing customer demand with supplier availability across our portfolio (e.g., hotel rooms, rental cars, tour guides, activities). Your expertise in logistics, problem-solving, and supplier relations will be critical to maximizing efficiency, minimizing costs, and delivering a flawless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the real-time availability of travel inventory (e.g., hotel allotments, tour seats, transfer vehicles) across multiple platforms and channels.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships to ensure priority service and access to last-minute inventory.
- Gather and update critical supplier information, including contact details, operational hours, and specific booking procedures.
- Utilize and master internal reservation, inventory, and CRM systems (e.g., similar to Salesforce, TourCMS, Rezdy, or proprietary platforms).
- Act swiftly to resolve operational issues such as overbookings, supplier cancellations, or resource shortages.
- Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to communicate changes and solutions effectively.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field.2+ years of experience in an operations, logistics, or supply management role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or events industry.Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.Proficiency with G-Suite / MS Office and experience with CRM or inventory management systems.Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including weekends or holidays, if required by the business (common in 24 / 7 travel operations).Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with global suppliers and an understanding of cross-cultural communication.Knowledge of key travel industry GDSs (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) or booking platforms.Fluency in English and Mandarin is a requirement as you will be communicating with colleagues / clients based overseas.Proven ability to analyze data and use it to drive operational decisions.Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or tech environment.What We Offer
