Senior Manager, Group IT

Job Summary

The Group IT Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing ongoing IT operations and procedures within the organization, including developing the necessary competencies of the Group IT Team, optimizing team utilization, and ensuring quality assurance for consistent implementation and delivery of IT projects. They actively participate in mentoring, training, and identifying hiring needs to maintain an appropriate skills mix within the team. Collaborating closely with the Head of Group IT, they drive multiple IT projects and initiatives across cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, key users, vendors, and service providers. They play a pivotal role in proposing IT roadmaps, managing project introductions, and ensuring successful system implementation and adoption. With a strong background in technology-driven environments and a deep understanding of digital transformation concepts, they possess strong organizational skills, strategic acumen, and a talent for project coordination and delegation. They advocate for agile project management practices to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently, while ensuring effective governance and reporting to stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic

To propose the IT Roadmap based on the Group's direction and needs.

• To ensure all IT projects and initiatives are align with the Group's ESG Framework.
• To ensure project quality, project delivery is within budget.
• To adhere to corporate policies, guidelines and sustainability and deliver within time constraints.
• To collaborate with and report to senior stakeholders to ensure governance and reporting needs are satisfied with concise communication and transparency regarding project issues and decisions.
• To establish and maintain good and effective relationships, including with Business Units and work collaboratively with a diversity of stakeholder groups and individuals.
• To advise Business Units on the implications of specific system design decisions.
