Asset Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join our team at MITIME CONSTRUCTION MALAYSIA SDN BHD'. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of our company's assets, ensuring they are utilised efficiently and effectively to support our construction operations in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing asset management strategies to optimise the performance, reliability and lifespan of our company's equipment, machinery and facilities
• Overseeing the maintenance, repair and replacement of assets to minimise downtime and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
• Analysing asset performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate the allocation and utilisation of assets across different projects and sites
• Maintaining detailed records and reporting on the status, condition and costs associated with the company's asset portfolio
• Researching and evaluating new technologies, equipment and materials to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of our asset management practices
• Providing technical guidance and training to operational staff on the proper use and care of company assets
