Quality Control Technician

Prepare samples and specimens for analysis using appropriate techniques (e.g., pipetting, dilution, centrifugation).

• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments (e.g., microscopes, analyzers, pH meters, balances).
• Accurately record data and document all tests and results in lab notebooks, logs, and computer systems (LIMS).
• Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and reagents; assist with ordering and restocking.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and biohazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized laboratory workspace.
• Assist senior lab staff and scientists with more complex experimental procedures and research projects.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment problems and report malfunctions promptly.
