TS - Senior Telecom Engineer

Penerangan pekerjaanAssign work to the project team appropriately. Liaise with other departments, clients and third parties as required by the project. Be overall responsible for the quality of the work produced. Ensures timely approval of engineering and requisitioning documents from the client as well as timely technical and economical definition of change orders and claims. Prepare updates and review specifications and calculations for detailed engineering. Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing value engineering solutions. Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the Vendors Adheres to the committed man / hours and budget. Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering activities to the Lead. Meets quality objectives of the project. Possesses good technical knowhow and well versed with design Codes and Standards Interfaces with other disciplines and project support functions such as procurement and planning. Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior engineering employees The Candidate shall possess a Bachelor degree in Telecommunication / Electronic Engineering accredited by Board of Engineer Malaysia or approved equivalent. For Senior engineer, Possess at least minimum 10 years of Telecommunication engineering design experiences in onshore / offshore application. For Lead Engineer, Possess at least minimum 12 years of post-graduate experience in similar Telecommunication engineering design experiences for onshore / offshore application. Preferably registered Professional Engineer (PE) with local board or approved equivalent. Be willing to travel and stationed at various Engineering Operating Centers / Client Office on needs basis (for overseas assignment). Site or experience with OEM (1 to 2 years) Exhibit and maintain good relationship with Client / Peers / Equipment Vendor & suppliers. Good Professional Check (feedback) from past Employers / Clients.

Successful candidates will be offered Fixed Term Contract.
About us
- Assist the HOD in ensuring good quality design outputs, as per the relevant procedures.
- Produce the agreed deliverables as per the project requirement and schedules in a cost-effective manner.
- Provide manhour and material cost estimates for proposals.
- Develop other more junior personnels skill by providing on the job training and appraising their performance.
- Provide advice and check work in his fields of expertise when required.
- When assigned as a Lead Engineer on a project, the additional responsibilities are :
Advise the HOD the manpower and skill levels required, to ensure smooth execution of the project.
