Responsibilities :
1. Human Resource Management
- Manage the full employee lifecycle : recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, and offboarding.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and SOPs in compliance with Malaysian labor laws (Employment Act 1955, SOCSO, EPF, EIS, etc.).
- Ensure accurate and confidential management of HR records (physical and digital via HRIS).
- Administer monthly payroll and statutory submissions, in collaboration with Finance.
- Address employee relations matters including counseling, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
- Monitor attendance, leave, claims, and uphold workplace discipline and positive morale.
- Conduct training needs assessments and coordinate internal or external development programs.
2. Talent & Culture Management
Lead employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Design and roll out engagement surveys; gather and analyze feedback to inform actions.Organize wellness programs, team-building activities, and employee recognition efforts.Champion internal communications and collaborate with department heads to align engagement strategies.Track and report on key people metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, eNPS) and recommend interventions.3. Office & Administrative Management
Oversee daily administrative functions including facilities, supplies, office maintenance, and asset tracking.Manage licenses, insurance renewals, and ensure regulatory compliance.Coordinate company travel, meetings, staff events, and official functions.Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of contracts, legal documents, and HR-related files.Liaise with government bodies, vendors, and service providers as required.4. HR Strategy & Reporting
Contribute to HR strategy planning to support organizational goals.Develop and execute people initiatives that drive performance, retention, and growth.Prepare and present HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, leave usage) to management monthly.Guide and mentor the HR Executive and support their professional development.Key Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead capacity.Solid knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, HR best practices, and payroll administration.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic SME setting.Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools.Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
