Assistant Manager, Supply Chain

Penerangan pekerjaanSource and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and contractual compliance. Negotiate and manage contracts in line with company policy. Conduct regular cost and supplier performance reviews. Coordinate food sampling / tasting sessions and ensure products meet quality assurance requirements. Manage supplier onboarding and purchase order issuance via ERP system. Maintain accurate supplier and product master data in the ERP system. Manage 3rd party logistics providers to ensure accurate and timely store deliveries. Coordinate incoming shipments and import licences. Resolve delivery challenges and implement service improvements. Oversee annual inventory counts with logistics providers to ensure accuracy. Analyse historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to develop accurate demand forecasts. Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to plan replenishment needs. Monitor forecast accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement. Identify and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall supply chain performance. Track and assess the sustainability of implemented improvements. Ensure adherence to customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies. Maintain complete and accurate import / export documentation for traceability and compliance.
Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs and stockouts.
- Coordinate and conduct inventory audits; resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Generate inventory reports to support performance analysis.
