Senior Manager, Procurement

Penerangan pekerjaanBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field Minimum 10–15 years of progressive procurement / supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Required language(s) : Chinese, English, Malay Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract management. Proven track record in vendor management, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization. Familiarity with ESG standards, ethical sourcing practices, and sustainability initiatives.
Responsibility :
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure value creation and total cost of ownership optimization.
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply risks.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process including RFPs, vendor evaluation, price negotiations, and purchase order management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Manage the procurement budget and track performance against key KPIs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
- Lead supplier performance evaluations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Negotiate long-term agreements to ensure supply continuity and favorable commercial terms.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee procurement systems (e.g., ERP, e-sourcing platforms) and ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Ensure ethical sourcing and alignment with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards.
- Monitor contract compliance and manage procurement-related disputes or claims.
