Overview

Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) – Sepang, Selangor

Responsible to design, develop, and optimize secure, scalable backend services and APIs that power the front-end interfaces of digital platforms, enabling seamless user interactions, real-time data exchange, and integration with internal and external systems to support public service delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design RESTful and Event-Driven APIs

To facilitate secure, efficient communication between frontend applications and backend services, enabling real-time data flow and seamless UX.

To support frontend functionality, manage user data, process inputs, and maintain business logic across digital platforms.

To ensure low latency, high availability, and responsiveness under high concurrent traffic conditions.

Implementing authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and encryption protocols in line with cybersecurity standards.

To ensure smooth API integration, frontend responsiveness, and alignment of system behavior with user expectations.

For APIs, integration guides, and backend architecture to support onboarding, troubleshooting, and audit readiness.

To identify and resolve bottlenecks, errors, and inefficient data flows affecting user experience.

To ensure data integrity and system resilience during user interactions.

Including internal MCMC systems or external agencies, ensuring secure, reliable interoperability.

By containerizing services, writing automation scripts, and ensuring infrastructure compatibility.
