Assistant Production Manager

to join our team in leading our operations at our Kuala Ketil site. This is a strategic role designed to strengthen our manufacturing governance and provide succession planning for leadership. You’ll be mentored to eventually take on full leadership responsibilities, making this a fantastic opportunity for growth. Lead and manage daily production operations, ensure timely and quality output. Collaborate across departments to optimize production schedules, resources, and equipment. Drive lean manufacturing and process optimisation initiatives Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues Analyze production data to reduce scrap, improve yield, and enhance efficiency. Mentor and develop production teams, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability. Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FDA regulations, and other relevant standards. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in latex / polymer, food, or chemical industries. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Familiarity with GMP standards and regulatory requirements for medical devices. Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa. Proficiency in systems like AS400, SAP, or equivalent.
