To manage overall warehouse operations, including inventory control, logistics, and export-import documentation. This role ensures the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse while maintaining compliance with customs regulations, shipping requirements, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
Oversee daily warehouse activities : receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Implement FIFO principles to ensure freshness and traceability.
Export & Import Documentation
Prepare and verify export / import documents : packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, bill of lading / airway bill, insurance certificates, and export declarations.
Maintain systematic filing of all export / import documents for audit and traceability.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing to avoid shortages or overstock.
Compliance and Quality
Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, Halal, and GMP standards.
Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Staff Management
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse and logistics staff.
Conduct regular briefings on safety and operational updates.
Reporting and System Use
Prepare reports on inbound / outbound, inventory status, and export / import tracking.
Analyze logistics costs and recommend improvements.
Equipment & Maintenance
Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
