Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

The successful candidate will support the corporate tax function, manage compliance matters and assist with tax advisory projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Malaysian tax regulations, analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review corporate tax computations, filing and compliance matters in accordance with the Income Tax Act and related regulations.
• Provide support in tax planning, advisory and risk management for the company and its clients.
• Liaise with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) and other relevant authorities on tax queries, audits and investigations.
• Stay updated with changes in tax laws, guidelines and practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Prepare tax-related reports and assist in special tax projects as assigned.
