Senior Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic finance team at AL Frozen Trading Sdn Bhd in Puchong, Selangor. As a full-time senior member of our accounting department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing detailed reports, and providing strategic financial support to the business. Your expertise in financial accounting and reporting will be instrumental in driving the company's continued success.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a timely basis

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure the integrity of financial data

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

Monitoring AR / AP, Mentor and guide junior members of the accounting team, providing training and support as needed

Monitoring Customer Aging Report.

What we’re looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

8+ years of experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing or trading industry

Proficient in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budget forecasting, and variance reporting

Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, IFRS standards, and tax regulations

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of delivering accurate and timely financial reporting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams

Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
