Your Role

The role will support the pharmacist in preparing, processing, and dispensing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbs and products. This role involves ensuring product quality, maintaining accurate inventory, and assisting patients with basic inquiries to ensure a smooth and safe pharmacy operation.

Key Responsibilities

Herbal Preparation & Dispensing

o   Assist the pharmacist in selecting and checking raw herbs to ensure freshness and quality.

o   Prepare herbal decoctions, powders, and pills under the pharmacist's supervision.

o   Handle the processing and packaging of herbal products while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Inventory & Stock Management

o    Organize, label, and store herbal inventory systematically.

o    Maintain accurate and updated records of stock levels for efficient replenishment.

Customer Support & Communication

o   Provide basic customer service, answering general inquiries about herbal medicine preparation.

o   Support the pharmacist in ensuring patients understand the safe use of herbal products.

Quality & Safety Compliance

o    Learn to identify various TCM herbs, including their properties and correct usage.

o    Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the herbal preparation and dispensing areas.

Requirements

• Education

o      Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or a related field.

o      Previous experience in a pharmacy, herbal medicine store, or TCM clinic is preferred.

o      Basic knowledge of TCM herbs, herbal preparation techniques, and quality control.

o      Fluency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong communication skills for assisting

patients and pharmacists.
