About the Role :
Aryan Solutions is hiring on behalf of a global financial services client in Malaysia. The Associate Director will lead the Accounting & Reporting Services team for Private Equity and Real Estate Funds, ensuring disciplined execution of critical client service delivery, risk and control initiatives, and people management. This role is ideal for senior finance professionals with strong leadership skills and extensive fund operations experience.
Key Responsibilities :
People Management
- Lead and develop team managers, building a strong talent pipeline.
- Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and recognize team contributions.
- Support career growth and advancement within the department.
Project & Operations Management
Drive key departmental projects, collaborating with Business Analysts and operational teams.Act as escalation point for risk areas and manage project scope changes.Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture and continuously monitor project quality.Strategic Planning & Risk Management
Anticipate growth and operational changes, building sustainable long-term operating models.Identify future risks and develop strategies to address challenges and opportunities.Use SWOT analysis and other tools to inform strategy and decision-making.Qualifications & Skills :
Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, with at least 5 years in a management role.Strong knowledge of Fund / Trust industry and financial markets.Exposure to Operational Risk frameworks and risk monitoring tools.Proven managerial skills with a track record of driving change.Familiarity with illiquid asset classes such as private equity, private debt, and real estate in an accounting or administrative context.Exceptional people management and development experience.Skills Required
