M&E Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute M&E projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, drawings, and reports.
• Review M&E design drawings and specifications, providing technical input where necessary.
• Ensure designs meet project briefs and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve and optimise designs for cost, process, and quality.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure seamless project delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Report design and development progress to the M&E Manager.
• Maintain AutoCAD software and backup systems to ensure all graphic documents are of consistent and high quality.
• Approve and manage As-Built drawings, ensuring they are produced for effective commissioning, maintenance, and handover to the client.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, verify standards, address discrepancies, and ensure safety compliance.
• Support continuous improvement and stay updated with the latest technology and industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate and prepare tender submissions, including compiling bid documents and evaluating post-tender outcomes.
