About the Role
As we build the Tencent Malaysia HR Outsourcing Hub into a strategic talent center with several hundred headcounts, we are looking for a highly detail-oriented and data-driven HR Specialist who can not only manage operational excellence but also tell stories through data to drive insights and improvements. You will oversee the lifecycle of Tencent’s outsourced workforce and contractors — ensuring seamless coordination with business leaders, vendors, and the Country HR Manager. Your work will contribute to driving scalable, compliant, and high-impact HR solutions for a growing, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Outsourced Workforce & Vendor Management
- Act as the HR focal point for all matters related to outsourced employees and contractors.
- Partner with outsourcing vendors to ensure operational efficiency, alignment to Tencent’s expectations, and compliance with SLAs.
- Manage onboarding / offboarding processes, ensuring a positive and compliant experience.
- Coordinate invoicing, payment validation, and contract documentation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and evaluate vendor performance through structured KPIs , including hiring speed, attrition rates, compliance adherence, and service quality.
- Performance & Workforce Insights
- Drive the execution of performance evaluation processes for outsourced staff.
- Partner with vendors and internal managers to identify gaps, support coaching, and recommend performance interventions.
- Design and generate HR dashboards and reporting , turning data into actionable insights that support decision-making.
- Track key workforce metrics (e.g., attrition, productivity, satisfaction) and visualize trends for senior management.
- Compliance & Governance
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws, Tencent’s internal policies, and audit requirements.
- Support investigations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Update and maintain policy documentation relevant to outsourced workforce governance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to outsourced workforce or vendor management.Demonstrated experience in HR operations, including data reporting / analytics, payroll, or talent acquisition.Recruitment or resourcing background is an added advantage, especially in managing vendor-led hiring processes.Strong attention to detail, particularly in tracking vendor SLAs and workforce data accuracy.Proven ability to tell stories through data — identifying trends, drawing insights, and making evidence-based recommendations.Experience with vendor KPI tracking and performance management frameworks.Effective problem solver with strong process thinking and solution-oriented mindset.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — builds trust and works collaboratively across cultures and time zones.Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; able to prioritize and deliver with quality.Strong written and verbal proficiency in English and Mandarin (mandatory due to regional vendor and stakeholder interactions).Contract Type : 1-year contract (renewable based on performance and business needs).Why Join Us?
