Requirements

Job Purpose

Provide the support to the management and township heads in analyzing township financial results to enable the management and township heads to make accurate and informed business decisions

To ensure company accounts are kept in an accurate manner and comply with the accounting standards and to provide accurate financial data for business decisions

Handling the taxation, budgeting and other financial matters of property development companies in charged

Job Responsibilities

Business and financial

Provide township analysis of results to the management

Prepare monthly forecasts, annual budget, common cost allocation and monitors actual performance against budget

Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial report (Property Development)

Financial

Attend to financial queries from Project Operations, Strategy and other departments for township in charge

Ensure monthly closing of accounts are done in accurately and submitted to consolidation team on timely manner Monthly review of financial statements and highlight any potential problems to the management

Monitor monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, including timely clearance of reconciling items and general accounting processes

Prepare / review of statutory accounts for accuracy and completeness and attend to statutory audit issues Liaise with external auditors and tax agent

Review of cash flow projection / feasibility study from operation team for new project

Business

Provide financial information to Marketing department for pricing proposal purposes and other operational decision making

Ad-hoc financial reports and analysis required by management

Assess system adequacy, identify process improvement to the overall accounting system and ensure sound internal control system

Taxation

Prepare / review and ensure timely submission of annual tax computation and tax returns, tax estimation, GST and other tax matters

Education / Professional Qualification

Degree in Accounting or equivalent

Partial completion of ACCA / CIMA / CPA / MICPA / etc
