We are expanding our operations in Malaysia and are seeking a talented and self-motivated HR Specialist to join our team remotely. This role is crucial in attracting and securing top talent to support our growth in the region.
Position Overview : We are looking for a proactive HR Specialist with 2-3 years of experience in recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for our positions in Malaysia. This is a remote position, requiring excellent self-discipline and communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential to effectively communicate with stakeholders across the region. A strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements (such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and HRDF) is required.
Key Responsibilities :
- Full-Cycle Recruitment : Manage the entire recruitment process for various positions, from job posting and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Sourcing & Strategy : Utilize various channels (job portals, social media like LinkedIn, networking, referrals) to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Screening & Interviewing : Conduct initial resume screenings, phone / video interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Stakeholder Management : Partner closely with department heads to understand hiring needs, define job requirements, and provide regular updates on recruitment status—all done effectively in a remote setting.
- Candidate Experience : Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates throughout the remote recruitment process.
- Compliance & Onboarding : Ensure all hiring practices comply with local Malaysian employment laws. Manage the pre-employment verification process and facilitate a smooth remote onboarding experience for new hires.
- Data Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and generate recruitment reports as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Experience : 2-3 years of proven experience as an HR Specialist, Recruiter, or Talent Acquisition Specialist.Language Skills : Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.Legal Knowledge : Working knowledge of Malaysian labor legislation, employment practices, and statutory bodies (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF).Remote Work Suitability : Proven ability to work independently and efficiently in a fully remote environment.
