Job Responsibilities
- Responsibilities in generating sales to maximize revenue so that agreed sales targets are achieved.
- Assist Management in increasing the Hotel / theme park’s profitability.
- Manage Corporate and TA accounts ensuring loyalty and continued support to our hotel and group.
- Comply with all Sales & Marketing Standard Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure the smooth running of sales & catering operations and report on competitor activities.
- Follow and enforce policies and procedures & rules and regulations as laid down by the company and the hotel to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.
- Develop and maintain contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors / Convention Bureau travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to Hotel / Theme Park Business.
- Have thorough knowledge and understanding of the client company, its products and hospitality needs.
- Organize regular sales visits in accordance with a predetermined plan.
- Promote the hotel / theme park as often as possible through entertaining, conducting site inspections, and presentations, etc.
- Visit former, existing and potential clients to enter contracts with them, especially corporate accounts.
- Define client requirements clearly and ensure that the guest services offered correspond effectively to their requests.
- Provide after-sales service and ensure all client feedback is taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary.
Job Requirements
Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia in writing and speaking; other languages are an added advantage.Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Marketing or related fields.Minimum 3 years working experience as Sales Personnel in Hotel / Theme Park industry - Corporate Market.Strong ability to engage with customers and strong leadership skills.Able to work under pressure, resilient, multitask, independent and punctual.Must be familiar with basic computer skills and should have experience in Social Media marketing / sales strategies.Ability to effectively deal with guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.Candidate must be able to work on shifts rotation whenever required on weekends, public holidays and peak seasons to cater to business / operational needs.Applicants must be willing to work at our SUNWAY THEME PARKS KEDAI RUNCIT located at Lorong Bayan Indah 3, Bay Avenue, Bayan Lepas, Penang .What can you expect
