Branch Manager (Banking industry)- Nationwide | salary up to RM 18K
Plan and execute business activities, oversee branch operations following approved Business Operating Model, focusing on growing branch's business, meeting branch performance target, generating profits for Retail Banking.
Responsible to undertake any appropriate assignment as and when allocated by the supervisors.
To develop and execute business plan and strategy towards achieving the branch contribution profit uplift.
To achieve all branches contribution assigned by Regional Director.
To lead and manage the sales force to achieve the assigned sales target / profit uplift.
To establish relationship management with the purpose of expanding business opportunities.
To inculcate the culture of customer experience so that customer will treat bank as their Main Bank.
Ensure overall operational compliance in line with the internal procedure and guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
To ensure adequate branch manning level, effective resource management and branch well maintained at all times in order to maintain and enhance quality of service.
To ensure branch personnel render sufficient and quality customer service to customer.
To manage and resolve all customer service issues as per guideline and regulation.
To monitor and review sales and service manning level adequacy and work closely with Head Office on optimal manning level.
To establish and implement HR management in line with guidelines in support of corporate strategies.
To monitor performance level of staff and coach towards higher performance level.
Identify and escalate risks inherent in particular situations or transactions. Assess, control, monitor and report impact of risks, franchise, regulatory or financial.
Conduct business and day to day activities contributing to a 'no surprise' compliance culture by ensuring adherence to the Group's AML programme, policies and procedures.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance / Accountancy / Banking, Business Studies / Administration / Management, Commerce or equivalent.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Excellent planning, organization and time management skills with strong follow through abilities.
Good team player, is self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills to drive sales.
Strong leadership abilities, aggressive and results-oriented.
Possess PCE, CEILI, FIMM, TBE and IPPC Licenses.
