Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire M&E construction lifecycle, including planning, execution, and handover phases
- Coordinate with site and contractor teams to ensure timely completion of M&E project milestones
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring clear communication of updates on schedules, budgets, and technical issues to stakeholders
- Lead M&E‑specific contract negotiations and manage amendments with architects, consultants, and subcontractors
- Evaluate M&E construction methods for cost‑effectiveness, monitor budget adherence, and produce regular progress and financial reports
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities, ensuring adherence to project standards
- Provide support to local teams on customer discussions regarding M&E project progress and any technical challenges
- Collaborate closely with external consultants to ensure effective design and construction of M&E systems within data centers, covering HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and other critical infrastructure
- Ensure the successful handover of M&E systems to operational teams, addressing any outstanding issues or deficiencies
- Lead safety initiatives on‑site, ensuring full compliance with M&E regulations and industry standards
- Oversee adherence to all relevant permitting and government authority requirements for M&E projects
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the project team
- Implement advanced project management and quality control techniques to optimize M&E project outcomes
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in construction project management within the M&E or engineering field; additional experience in data center projects highly preferredProven experience in delivering large‑scale M&E projects, with strong knowledge of HVAC, power systems, and fire protectionExpertise in M&E systems, local authority approval processes, and testing and commissioning of critical infrastructure in data centers, including Integrated Systems Testing (IST)Solid understanding of CAPEX planning, cost estimation, and total cost of ownership (TCO) for M&E systems in data centersEngineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fieldProficiency in project management tools, MS Project, and MS Office, with excellent organizational and time‑management skillsDemonstrates initiative, collaboration, and resilience under pressureFluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages in the APAC region are advantageous#J-18808-Ljbffr
