Overview
The Sales and Marketing Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and market share for the company's quarry and construction materials (e.g., aggregates, sand, crushed stone, ready-mix concrete).
Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales : Identify, target, and acquire new commercial construction, infrastructure, and residential development clients.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing key accounts, including major contractors, engineering firms, and material purchasers.
- Prepare and present accurate sales proposals, quotations, and tender submissions, ensuring profitability and compliance with project specifications.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing within company guidelines.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Technical Knowledge & Client Support : Maintain a strong technical understanding of the quarry products and construction materials offered (e.g., aggregate grading, concrete mixes).
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving product, delivery, and quality issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct site visits to better understand client material needs and logistical challenges.
- Reporting & Administration : Maintain an accurate CRM database of all sales leads, client interactions, and sales activities.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports, market summaries, and pipeline projections for management review.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Strong technical understanding of quarry products (aggregates, sand, limestone) and their use in construction projects.Established network of contacts within the local construction industry (contractors, developers, local government a plus).Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to read basic blueprints or project specifications to determine material requirements.Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel frequently to client sites.Application Details
