About the Role

As part of the Territory Operations Department, the Territory Coordinator will work within the EMEA language services team on subtitling and scripting projects. Reporting to the Territory Manager, the coordinator will implement project strategy, manage vendor and freelancer assignments, and act as a point of contact for internal clients, production teams, and localization vendors and freelancers to ensure adherence to due dates, budgets, and quality requirements. The position is a full‑time independent contractor scheduled to end June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Fully coordinate and plan specific projects’ subtitling process as tasked by the Territory Manager.
• Liaise with Project Managers regarding ongoing projects and act as a point of contact between PMs, PP, and linguists.
• Set translation / QC timelines and reach out to freelancers with assignments.
• Follow up with linguists to confirm that expected deliveries are on‑track.
• Audit and approve freelancer payments by the end of each month.
• Monitor linguists’ translation quality and report any quality, consistency, or commitment issues to the Lead.
• Headhunt freelancers and vendors as needed per project requirements.
• Develop KNPs or other linguistic documentation required to maintain consistency as requested by the client.
• Suggest workflow improvements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
