The Role

Assist in designing a strategic framework for the IFRS 17 transition, analysing profitability impacts, and developing the transition model and impact assessment. Provide ongoing monitoring of regulatory trends and risk management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing a strategic framework which includes an assessment of the size of the transition block and recommendation for the best transition approach.
• Assist in determining the business strategy post‑implementation of IFRS 17 which includes analysis of differences in profitability measurement under current and IFRS 17 reporting requirements.
• Analyse the emerging pattern of IFRS 17 profit and recommend enhancements.
• Design the Transition Model and Impact Assessment.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to understand risk and safeguard the company.
• Highlight any potential concerns / risk and proactively share best risk‑management practices.
• Other related responsibilities as required.
