Operations - Klang (Executive)

LONPAC Insurance Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of LPI Capital Bhd, was incorporated in Malaysia in 1994.

The company is recognised for its financial stability and operates in 21 locations across Malaysia and Singapore, employing over 800 staff.

Responsibilities

• Candidate with minimum 2 years of working experience in sales or life insurance company will be an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good command of English.
• Possess strong analytical skills.
• Monitor the productivity of each agent and assist the branch and Business Development Manager in organising agency development program to stimulate more sales.
• Provide services and support to intermediaries, Corporate Agents, Direct corporate and brokers in terms of quotations, policy documentations, claim inquiry and enquiries from all channels.
• Conduct monthly production analysis on agency portfolio mix, business growth and profitability.
• Conduct review of reference & decline risk before acceptance of renewal by ensuring all risks taken by branch are according to the Company’s underwriting guide and retain the risk in accordance with guideline.
• Monitor and review the validation of the Special Rate & self-rating, coordinate with respective marketer to organise the risk survey.
• Ensure all risks taken by branch are according to Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), Company’s underwriting guide and retain the risk in accordance with guidelines.
• Take charge of co-outward and inward businesses, ensure the retention of the preferred business and to update the CICS folder.
• Ensure all quotations and renewals are followed up and maintain 85% of renewal ratio for all classes except motor classes.
• Improve cycle time on quotations, risk approvals and other agency related issues.
• Liaise with Head Office on Group Health, Special Liability and Bond quotations, policies and endorsements.
• Assist in issuing urgent policies / endorsements in accordance with the Company’s underwriting guidelines and benchmark whenever necessary.
