Network / Server Engineer

Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, and related technologies. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitor network performance, availability, and reliability to ensure optimal operation. Perform advanced network troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and resolve connectivity and system issues. Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement network solutions that support business needs. Maintain and regularly update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies. Implement and configure network devices and services, including load balancers, VPNs, and security appliances. Ensure network security by applying appropriate firewalls, access control policies, and other security measures. Conduct network maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, software patches, and system backups. Plan and execute disaster recovery drills and network performance testing. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal IT teams on network-related matters. Coordinate and collaborate with internal team and external third-party vendors, SOC teams, and compliance team to continuously enhancing and securing offices' network environment. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 2–3 years of proven experience in a Network Engineer or equivalent role. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware, including configuration and administration. In-depth understanding of LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies. Experience in implementing and maintaining network security practices and protocols. Proficiency in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Familiarity with cloud networking platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an added advantage. Possession of industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to client sites as required.
