Overview
Proactively arrange and attend meetings with customers to understand their requirements, build relationships, and maintain regular communication.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze information on competing products, market pricing, purchase volumes, and customer expectations regarding pricing terms.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team Leader and Supply Chain Team Leader to prepare tailored supply proposals that meet customer needs and internal capabilities.
- Lead negotiations with customers on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, acceptable quality levels (AQL), and packaging requirements, in consultation with internal stakeholders.
- Secure purchase orders (ideally covering 6 months to 1 year) and coordinate with the supply chain team to plan production, shipment schedules, and ensure accurate ETD / ETA communication.
- Notify customers regarding the shipment arrival and ensure smooth delivery in line with the agreed schedule and conditions.
- Arrange quality assurance (QA) inspections during production, and coordinate post-delivery performance reviews of bottles and caps at the customer’s facility.
- Monitor customer payment behavior and ensure timely collections in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
- Work closely with customers to manage rolling forecasts, ensure adequate stock levels, and plan new purchase orders effectively.
- Propose new jars, bottles, and cap options to customers that offer cost benefits, improve production efficiency, or support new product development initiatives.
