Payment Operations Specialist (Mandarin Speaker) – Zeal Group, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Responsibilities
- Process Payments : Execute timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing payments, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other company payment methods.
- Reconciliation : Perform daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations of payment transactions; investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Compliance : Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations; implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Vendor Management : Liaise with banks, payment processors, and other financial institutions to manage relationships and resolve payment-related issues.
- Reporting : Generate regular reports on payment activities (transaction volumes, processing times, error rates); analyze trends and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes and enhance automation; collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades.
- Customer Support : Provide solutions to customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and resolution; maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective communication.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Prior experience in payment operations within the Forex / Trading industry or financial services sector.Strong understanding of payment systems (e.g., SWIFT, IBAN) and other international payment protocols.Proficiency with financial software and tools for payment processing and reconciliation.Knowledge of regulatory requirements (AML and PSP).Excellent communication skills; able to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners.Analytical mindset with problem-solving and continuous improvement abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.Fluency in English and Mandarin is compulsory.Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Willingness to work on rotational shifts (weekends / PH) as required.Benefits
