Responsibilities
- Managing the financial reporting for the organization, including monthly reports, budgeting, forecasting, 5-year financial plans, and statutory reporting.
- Providing financial support and insights to enable the ELT to make critical business decisions.
- Preparing presentations of financial results and insights for the Board.
- Managing taxation affairs and liaising with external tax advisors.
- Overseeing cash flow management and treasury controls.
- Managing relationships with external auditors and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Handling banking and borrowing arrangements.
- Managing relationships with investors, if applicable.
- Overseeing financial systems and processes.
- Presenting financial results to non-finance stakeholders.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Management Accounting functions.
- Implementing risk management frameworks.
- Advising on payment, receivables, revenue enhancement, and cost reduction strategies.
- Monitoring and managing budgets, billing, collections, and tax information.
- Reviewing finance policies and procedures.
- Overseeing group payroll and departmental budgets.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).Advanced Excel skills, including financial formulas and spreadsheet creation.Strong data entry skills with error detection abilities.Good organizational and time-management skills.Comfortable working in a start-up environment.Skills
