This position will be known as Licensing Executive in MACP Berhad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and educate music users the need and importance to obtain a license for the use of copyrighted music;
  • Actively seeking out new licensing opportunities through market survey, calling,
  • Walkthrough applicants on the licensing requirements and application process; Inspect and investigate commercial premises / events for unlicensed use of copyrighted music;
  • Advise, negotiate, and conclude deals with music users based on the Company’s licensing tariffs or best possible commercial term;
  • Provide information, monitor payment to facilitate business operators’ and event organizers' compliance;
  • Suggest, propose and liaise with in-house lawyers in respect of enforcement matters involving the Company;

    • Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum requirement : Possess a Diploma / Higher Diploma in Business Studies, Marketing, Administration, Mass Communication, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of working experience in sales and marketing preferred; Fresh graduates are welcome to join as training is provided
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Good personal characteristics with honesty and integrity
  • Great interpersonal & communication skills, proficiency in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia, with proficiency in Mandarin as an advantage but not a requirement
