Koocester is a leading social media content company with over 1 million followers across all platforms. We specialise in storytelling across multiple verticals, including Koocester Homes, Koocester Business, Koocester Autos and Koocester Foodie.

As we expand across Singapore, Malaysia and the region, we are strengthening our finance and operations team. We are looking for a dedicated Malaysian Accountant to support our growing business.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in WP, Kuala Lumpur. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and reconciling financial accounts, preparing financial statements, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. The role includes maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Experience with financial software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
