Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) and logging solutions (ELK stack). Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Description
We are looking for a skilled Linux Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux-based systems and servers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Automate system tasks using shell scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance on Linux servers.
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform regular backups and recovery procedures.
- Document system configurations and updates for future reference.
